We had the pleasure of hosting INSTITUTION at the CASELLI 11–12 in collaboration with Camera della Moda during Milan Fashion Week.

INSTITUTION, the creative project founded by Galib Gassanoff, stands out for its deep roots in the personal and aesthetic origins of its founder, as well as the rich cultural heritage to which it is intrinsically connected. More than just a fashion brand, INSTITUTION positions itself as a socio-artistic organization driven by a strong ethical foundation.

The name itself evokes the idea of a framework of rules and norms that, shaping and constraining individual behavior, carries a sense of persistence and continuity. However, for Galib Gassanoff, INSTITUTION signifies a new chapter—a platform to explore and reinterpret cultural traditions through a contemporary lens.

Born in Georgia to Azerbaijani parents and raised in the vibrant outskirts of Tbilisi, Gassanoff was immersed from an early age in the craftsmanship and traditions of the region’s diverse ethnic groups. His journey brought him to Milan, where he honed his skills in fashion design.
